Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how the website www.denona.hr uses cookies and similar technologies and how users can accept, reject or subsequently change their preferences.
1. Who operates the Website
The Website is operated by DENONA d.o.o., Radnička cesta 206, Zagreb, personal identification number (OIB) 97373082565. For questions about cookies, users may contact denona@denona.hr or call +385 (0)1 2361 777.
2. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on or accessed from a user's device when they visit the Website. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, tags and other identifiers. Some are necessary for the Website to operate, while others are used for functionality or analytics.
3. Legal basis
Storing cookies and other data on a user's device, or accessing such data, is subject to the Electronic Communications Act. Consent is not required only for transmitting a communication or where strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the user. The mere fact that a cookie is useful to the website owner does not make it necessary. Functional and analytics cookies and related services are activated only after freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous consent has been obtained. If personal data is processed in this context, the GDPR also applies, on the legal bases described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Categories of cookies
| Category | Purpose | Default setting |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Essential Website operation and security, and remembering the user's cookie choices. | Always active. |
| Functional | Additional features and content, currently an interactive Google Maps map. | Disabled until consent is given. |
| Analytics | Measuring Website traffic and use through Google Analytics 4. | Disabled until consent is given. |
| Marketing | Advertising, conversion tracking and remarketing. | Not currently used. |
5. Technologies used by the Website
| Name or tool | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| moove_gdpr_popup | Denona / Moove Agency | Remembers the user's choice of cookie categories. | Necessary | 6 months |
| _ga | Distinguishes users and compiles Website usage statistics. | Analytics | Up to 2 years, depending on GA4 settings | |
| _ga_JTDNFTRJM3 | Stores and counts data on visits for a specific GA4 property. | Analytics | Up to 2 years, depending on GA4 settings | |
| Google Maps | Displays an interactive map of Denona's location; the service is not loaded before functional consent is given. | Functional | Depends on Google's cookies and settings | |
| wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie | WordPress | Login of authorised users to the website administration. Not set for visitors. | Necessary | Until the end of the session or up to 14 days |
6. User choices
On the first visit, a notice is displayed with the options Accept All, Reject All and Settings. Accept All and Reject All are equally accessible and visually equivalent options on the first layer of the notice. Reject All applies to all cookies and services that are not necessary. In the settings, users can separately enable or disable functional and analytics cookies. Marketing cookies are not currently used. Necessary cookies remain active only to the extent permitted by the statutory exception. Rejecting cookies does not prevent basic use of the Website or submission of forms; the interactive map is available only after the relevant consent has been given.
Inaction, continued browsing, closing the notice or pre-ticked boxes do not constitute consent. Google Analytics 4, Google Maps and other non-essential services remain blocked until the user makes a clear affirmative choice.
7. Changing or withdrawing consent
Users can open Cookie Settings at any time via a permanently available link in the Website footer to change their choices or withdraw consent. Choices are stored for six months. New consent is requested earlier if there is a material change to the purposes, categories or services used. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out previously. After consent is withdrawn, further loading of services and transmission of data for the disabled purposes cease, and cookies controlled by the Website for those purposes are removed where technically possible. Users can remove any remaining third-party cookies in their browser. Deleting cookies does not, in itself, delete data already stored on providers' servers; rights concerning such data are described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Third-party cookies
Following the relevant consent, some cookies and requests may originate from Google in connection with Google Analytics 4 and Google Maps. Google processes data under its own privacy policy. Cloudflare processes technical data required for network security and content delivery. Loading these services may transfer an IP address, device and visit data, and other identifiers to the provider, including for processing outside the European Economic Area. Information about recipients, legal bases, transfers and rights is available in the Privacy Policy. Google's policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy, and Cloudflare's at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
9. Browser settings
Users can also restrict or delete cookies through their web browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect basic Website functionality. Browser settings do not replace the option to manage consent via the Cookie Settings link.
10. Amendments and contact
This Policy may be amended to reflect the cookies actually used, technical changes or legal requirements. The current version is published together with the date of its last update. For questions, users may contact denona@denona.hr.
